I want to understand how a situation came to be before deciding what to change. The “why” habit can be annoying. It is also where I tend to begin.
Design for the person

A board decision and a working team’s next step need different things. Who will use the work, and what does it need to help them do?
Stay with the idea
into execution.
At Alkem MedTech, the work extended from an entry thesis into technology transfer, acquisition work and operating foundations. That is the connection I want to keep making.

I chose a small design studio early in my career because I wanted to get close to the work.
Over time, I found myself drawn to the bigger picture: how things fit together, where they get stuck, and what could work better. That took me from design at IIT Bombay to business at IIM Ahmedabad and ESSEC, and from UX into strategy and operating work.
Outside work, I photograph, travel and find my way to live music. I like having reasons to look a little more closely.
ON MY MIND LATELY
How AI can help people make better operating decisions, especially in manufacturing. An interest I’m exploring, with more questions than conclusions.
